We created a series of materials to introduce a winter lecture series hosted by the Max Planck Florida Institute, the first U.S.-based institute of Germany’s Max Planck Society. The free and open to the public events feature a lineup of internationally renowned scientists discussing their work and the latest developments in their fields of interest. In order to capture the attention of a busy public, we balanced MPFI’s signature clean design and green and white color palette with striking images related to the scientist’s work, including the image shown here of “robofly,” a robotic reproduction of a fly’s brain circuits. The result was a packed house for each of the three lectures and a highly successful launch of the annual series.

The Vaccine & Gene Therapy Institute of Florida gave us full artistic license to develop informational materials that reflected the innovative, groundbreaking work they do. We created an overview brochure that opens like a scientist’s notepad and housed it in a pocket folder designed to look like a lab coat, which also holds inserts with the bios of each lead scientist.

When United Way of Palm Beach County asked the O’Donnell Agency to rebrand its high-level donor society, we developed a full range of marketing materials that highlighted the organization’s rich history and brand equity while reflecting a level of sophistication that appealed to existing and prospective members.

When the O’Donnell Agency changed its name from Carey O’Donnell PR Group, we adopted and adapted the “forward arrow” from navigation features on computers and electronics to highlight our use of digital technologies, and merged it with its meaning outside the technology realm. The idea is to reflect ‘forward thinking’ and ‘direction.’ We used the energizing, interesting burnt orange palette that defines our office to strike another distinctive, memorable element.

From 2009 to 2010, Hanley Center, a world-renowned nonprofit addiction recovery center, experienced a 70 percent increase in the number of baby boomers seeking addiction treatment for substance abuse, particularly prescription pain pills. We crafted a strategic regional and national media outreach plan to draw attention to this rapidly growing problem. We secured significant coverage in a number of national media outlets, including TIME, AARP’s magazine, and numerous television appearances for the Center’s CEO, including the CBS Early Show.

With a tagline like “Always Original”– created by our Agency in 2006 – it’s imperative that the ads we create for the DDA’s campaign to promote the Downtown District are always fresh and brimming with energy. This series uses big, bold colors and eye-catching icons that are as fun and appealing as the Downtown activities they represent.

When the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties launched its redesigned and revamped civic engagement website, YourPBC.org, they looked to us to create a logo that would reflect its threefold purpose − to identify, address and inspire people to take action on local issues. We found the perfect solution with a concept that prompts a call to action while underscoring the site’s three areas of civic engagement, as well as its color palette.

We designed this full-page ad for Oxbridge Academy of the Palm Beaches, a new, top-tier, college preparatory high school opening in September 2011. In order to raise the profile of the school within the community and help support enrollment efforts, we developed this concept which appeals not only to parents but to high school-aged children, who have a strong voice in the school selection process. As a result, more than 300 people attended the school’s first open house.

Community relations is a top priority for the Max Planck Florida Institute, the first U.S.-based institute of Germany’s Max Planck Society. To highlight the Society’s international renown and the Florida Institute’s focus on neuroscience, we did a little creative “brainstorming” for a series of holiday cards that depict the Society’s signature Minerva – with an American twist.

We polled the public to measure reaction to the 20-year-old logo for Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, asking participants to rank it among six logos of leading humane societies around the country. Although it scored very favorably, certain elements of the logo were now out of step with the organization’s $15-million new building and integrated technologies, so we gave it a modern, striking look that reflects the organization’s life-saving mission as well as the warmth and friendliness that have defined it for eight decades.

This multi-fold piece got the attention of the many audiences important to the organization – and drew a record crowd to the event.

We created an overview brochure for the Peggy Adam’s Animal Rescue League to increase awareness of its life-saving mission among the general public and potential donors. To depict the tremendous impact the organization has had in the community, as well as the many services it offers, we designed an illustrated timeline chronicling its rich 80-year history. The ‘fur-friendly’ folder flap on one of the panels allows the rescue league’s staff to carry whatever supplemental materials they need with them when they go out into the community.

We created this brochure to showcase the entire CityPlace “universe,” which encompasses 72-acres of upscale shopping, dining and entertainment options as well as the office and residential space at CityPlace Tower and CityPlace South Tower. Every element of the piece, from the panoramic photography to the sophisticated, clean design, reflects the property’s vibrant atmosphere and unparalleled success.

This design didn’t even come from our art department, but rather from the more athletic among us chipping in ideas over our designer’s shoulder! It combines the client’s emphasis on sports injuries with his rehabilitation practice into a memorable mark.
